The Passing of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

On behalf of Llanbadoc Community Council:

We record and express our sorrow at the passing of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and extend our sympathy to the Queen and all the Royal Family at this sad time.  The longest serving Consort in our history, he led a life dedicated to public service and support for our Queen, including military service in World War 2.

On the occasion of their Diamond Jubilee the Queen paid Prince Philip the most heartfelt tribute, as her rock in good times and bad.  There can be no more generous or fulsome praise for her companion and husband of over 70 years.
