Jenny was born in Usk and has lived in this area all her life.  Jenny is married to Richard and they have one son.

Before taking an early retirement package in 2011 Jenny worked in a Junior Management role for Barclays Bank having started with the bank following college at the age of 17. Her 34 years service took her to several branches around Monmouthshire and latterly in Cardiff.  She moved to Glascoed in 1988 having converted the local school which had been recently closed.

Jenny is very appreciative of our wonderful rural environment and has welcomed the opportunity to serve the residents of Glascoed as a Community Council representative. She understands that there are many challenges for a small village like Glascoed and hopes to work towards better community engagement and ensuring a voice is heard, so preserving the village and surrounding neighbourhood.

Presently, Jenny is a committee member of Usk Cricket Club and a volunteer for the Junior team management with specific responsibility for administration. In this regard, she has recently undertaken courses relating to coach support, child welfare and first aid.
